I didn’t get up in time to post before leaving Amarillo. Instead, I’ll share a few images of some storms we saw as we drove from Santa Rosa, NM, to Amarillo, TX, yesterday.
The storms were generally tracking to the north and we were headed due east, so we punched through them. They were well below severe limits.
As we approached Texas, there were several good gusts, generating outflow dust.
Overnight, a good thunderstorm (also non-severe) rolled through Amarillo. All I could really do was listen to the thunder, as I had a kitten asleep on my arm.
Thank you for reading my post.
