This week, I chose to highlight a satellite image from this morning (a day late) over the southern Great Plains.
There isn’t much to see here, but there is a little mid-level instability in western Oklahoma. These small cumulus puffs happened first thing in the morning, indicating there was already a little rising motion in the atmosphere.
