Storm Chasing Plans, Round #2

Tomorrow, I will set sail for Denver, CO. On Friday, I will pick up Kathryn and Brandon, and we will be on the road.

I am excited about the potential of a northern plains chase. I have never chased in MT, ND or MN, and there’s a possibility for any of those. I have also never had a very successful chase in IA, and that is a possibility as well.

According to the SPC, the Day 3, 4, and 5 threats look like:

I will look at these in more detail on the road, but for now, all signs point north. The Marginal Risk on Day 3 is because we will be a little ways from the area, and off to an early start on Friday, so we might as well chase there. It doesn’t take us out of position for Day 4 or 5, either.

Still on the To-Do list:
* Set up laptop in car
* Set up a 10 meter antenna
* Pack a cooler
* Clean out car of old Rockstar cans
* Organize trunk space
* Pack pills
* Clean out laptop bag

Thank you for reading my post.
