Weather Video of the Week: #10, 3/8/20

This week’s video is, of course, about the Nashville Tornadoes.

While Cookville was hit harder, Nashville had more people and more cameras rolling when the tornadoes hit. One of the scarier videos out there was from a crane operator, suspended 375 feet above the city when the tornado rolled through town. As it turns out, there were multiple crane operators up when the tornado struck, but one of them took a video (which has some understandably bad language in it!)

On my storm chase trips, we often debate, “What is the worst storm chase vehicle of all time?” I think a crane wins that debate. There is probably no worse vehicle.

Thank you for reading my post.
