Satellite Image of the Week 2019 #2

This week’s Satellite Image of the Week shows the winter storm that is currently over the east coast.

Notice the intense embedded convection in this system. A few snow squalls developed in this winter storm. Just in case you thought convection didn’t happen in the winter.
