Satellite Image of the Week #21

This week’s Satellite Image of the Week shows now sub-tropical storm Alberto as it crashes into the Gulf Coast near Pensacola.

It has long spiral bands, and plenty of ongoing convective development.  You can see the center of circulation just southwest of the “hump” in the Florida Panhandle.
