On 5/23/17, we casually ambled from Lubbock to Amarillo and did I spent some time catching up on work. There was virtually no severe threat in the Great Plains.
On 5/24/17, was also a travel day. We drove from Amarillo, TX, to Guymon, OK, to set up for the following day. Our Super 8 (the VT crew stays there regularly) was no longer a Super 8, but we stayed there anyway. Across the street was a great Japanese Restaurant. It was also laundry day for me.
I will post 5/25/17’s storm chase account soon. It was an incredibly busy day.
