Video of the Week: #7, and a Follow Up for Yesterday’s Moderate Risk

Yesterday, I thought the Moderate Risk would be hampered by the lack of moisture.  However, there was one tornado report near Ada, OK, and large hail all over the Moderate Risk area.

The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) Storm Report Graphic shows the reports that were received due to yesterday’s storms.

I also had a former student, Matt Burr, post photos on Facebook from the Dallas area of 2″ diameter hail.  He said that he picked up these hailstones about a half an hour after they fell.  (Photo used with permission)
