Satellite Image of the Week #6

This week’s satellite image is from this morning over the Gulf Coast.  There’s nothing particularly special about it, though you can clearly see the influence of the sea breeze along the coast.  Notice how the clouds form cloud streets that start a few miles inland.  Warm, moist air is being pulled from the Gulf and into this area by the sea breeze.  Also, notice the beautiful, nearly cloud-free day over Florida today.

Thank you for reading this post!
