Marietta, GA, to Jersey, VA

This will be the last day of the first leg of our road trip. We spent the night in Marietta again last night, and will drive to my parents’ house in Virginia today.

Yesterday was cool, but not so cold that the weather prevented me from being outdoors. I went for a brief, cold walk in the early evening.

This morning, the weather is foggy and cold. The National Weather Service’s Watches and Warnings Map shows plenty of Freezing Fog warnings between Georgia and Virginia, though many of them will expire soon after sunrise:

Currently, my car has a layer of frost on it. I’m hoping it will be melted by the time we get up and get moving.

Thank you for reading my post.
