Satellite Image of the Week: #45

This week’s satellite image is from this afternoon in the desert southwest.  There is a weakening upper-level low over Arizona.  Ahead of this low pressure system is quite a bit of moisture and cloud cover.  There are even a few thunderstorms along the I-25 corridor in New Mexico, and a Marginal Risk in the southern part of the state for severe weather.
