Satellite Image of the Week: #25

This week’s satellite image was taken on the 12th over Texas. I just like the way this Mesoscale Convective System (MCS) started to fall apart, but then rebuilt as diurnal heating increased convection again after a few hours of daylight. You may have to click on this image to animate it.
