Satellite Image of the Week: #11

This week’s satellite image was taken yesterday over Texas. It is of the mid-latitude cyclone that brought some severe weather to Texas earlier this week.

More impressive, in my opinion, is the water vapor imagery, taken at nearly the same time. Notice how much moisture is being pulled into this system, and the clear definition of this system on a global scale!

Thank you for reading this post!
