Satellite Image of the Week: #4

This week’s satellite image was taken a few days ago over the Mid-Atlantic region, showing very organized cloud streets over the Atlantic Ocean. We can see a strong land breeze is present, based on the clouds location offshore. Also, the farther you go offshore, the more the convection mode approaches “open cellular” versus “closed cellular” near the coast.
