Satellite Image of the Week: #6

This week’s satellite image was taken this afternoon over Texas and New Mexico. What I like about this image is the two overshooting tops visible at the TX/NM border. The storm cells are much larger, but the cauliflower-shaped areas are where the two main updrafts are located. You can also see the shadow of the anvil east of the storm.
