Reading – NWA June Newsletter

I just finished reading the June 2015 Newsletter for the National Weather Association, and it brought back some great memories. One of the features was discussing the upcoming “High Plains NWA Conference.”

Back in 2006, I presented a paper at this conference in the student presentation contest, and I won second place. I was really happy about this, even though I felt like my presentation was not very good.

It’s neat to see some of the same names today that I remember from the conference back then.

I need to get out and start writing again; perhaps I will publish some more, or present a few more times. I don’t exactly know why I stopped.

Not bad for reading a monthly newsletter!
