I have joined 2007 and added a YouTube Channel for High Plains Tours. My videos range in quality from mediocre to very bad, and every year I say that I will do better next year. By having a real YouTube channel, perhaps I will be more motivated to do so.
These videos I added today show a real Great Plains lightning storm. These were taken on 6/4/15, south of Atwood, KS, on this past year’s storm chase.
Both videos are shown in real time; I have not sped these up. This is what is sometimes referred to as “staccato lightning” due to its quick connect time on each stroke. Note: DO NOT WATCH THESE VIDEOS IF YOU ARE PRONE TO SEIZURES DUE TO FLASHING LIGHTS!
Stay tuned, there will be more updates over the next few days.
Thank you for reading my post. Be sure to follow my YouTube channel as well.
