I am not anticipating chase-able severe weather today, though I am watching for the Wednesday-Friday timeframe in the Northern Great Plains.
Instead, I will share some older photos that I have not yet posted. On 4/11/15, I was playing in a radio contest that required me to travel between as many New Mexico counties as possible. Around sunset, I was north of Roswell, and was able to take a few photos of a severe-warned supercell over Western Texas. (These photos are looking east, to the backside of the supercell). You can see the back-sheared anvil and the overshooting top clearly in both of these photos.
Thank you for reading my post!
