Interesting things to note on this storm:
1. I was in Fairview, OK and the VT team was in Canton, OK (both roughly between Woodward and Enid) before the first puffs appear on radar. This is typical of a good storm chase day; beat the clouds to initiation.
2. Notice how the cells start discrete and then merge into a bowing segment.
3. Unknown to me during the chase, but pretty apparent now: watch the cell that forms near Altus, OK. It forms, splits and creates a left moving cell that traces I-44 from Lawton, OK to Oklahoma City, where it slams into the bowing segment.
