From Shamrock, TX, we drove back to Albuquerque, NM along I-40. I intended to run some counties on 20m, but the wind was so strong, I was afraid it would snap the antenna. I was doing 80 mph, but the antenna was leaning to the side, rather than straight back. I broke an antenna about a year ago on I-40 due to strong winds, and I didn’t want to do it again.
